Demetrios and I have been together for over 6 years. We’ve known each other for over 8 years. We first met in the realm of a ps3 video game called Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. We played together for years and never talked personal but he extended an invite for a drink if I was to ever visit New York.

When I finally did decide to meet up with some friends in New York, I reached out to him for a drink and low and behold it was love at second sight. 3 months later I moved to New York and we have been together ever since, struggling through visas, long-distance and masters degrees.

He finally proposed earlier in 2016 by waving a white flag of surrender and so now we move forward to our wedding. We are both pretty dorky and decided that we wanted a theme to our wedding. We compromised on Disney, specifically Star Wars meets Disney Princess. I love to plan themed parties and events so I am looking forward to planning our special day.
